What are some non-tourist things I should do in Rome, Florence, & Venice? - venice tourist board

I am going to Rome, Florence and Venice, and I reserved for tourist travel and the reality of things ... (The Vatican, etc.), but ....

I really want to do more than simply toursity things so you can actually experience the place that I visit when I'm on vacation.

Do you know of good restaurants / places to visit are a local matter, and not so common in these cities?

Thank you very much for your help!

I agree with you, the better experience is off the beaten track. I will try to give some advice.
Venice: Take a ferry to the island of Murano and visit the laboratory glass blowing, and after a lunch of fish in a typical inns. Traveling from Venice to Florence, where possible, with a stopover in less popular locations, but also fascinating, such as Padua, Ferrara and Bologna, rich in art, cultural heritage (Ferrara is a medieval gem with its castle) and the kitchen. In Florence, is a journey into the surrounding hills, in Fiesole (bus number 7 Etruscan, villas and other places of interest, and in this case the local rate very tasty) and San Gimignano ('s medieval Manhattan). From Florence to Rome, Perugia or Siena is unique and worth seeing. Once in Rome, go to the quarterfinals of the local favorites, see Trastevere (il Ristorante Buttero of Lungaretta) or the old quarter of the Vatican (Ristochicco Ristorante, Borgo Pio) to the Eternal City through the eyes of Rome. Then take a trip to the fishing village of Fiumicino and watch the boats come) with their catch of the morning (tube + bus. You can) a delicious meal of fish pier Bastianelli (water or in one of the inns in the place where the fishing pier.
Have a nice time.

In Venice, just before dinner, Bacaro has to go, "a pub and drink a drop. It is a very traditional drink made from white wine, water and Aperol.
We drink every time!

Just walk away from the crowd, and on foot to find not translate a beautiful place with a menu.
